Chief Executive Officer, Americas

Jim Alderman is the Chief Executive Officer, Americas for Radisson Hotel Group and is based in the company’s U.S. headquarters in Minnetonka, Minn. Alderman is responsible for the corporate offices and more than 680 hotels in the company’s portfolio throughout the Americas. He is also a member of the U.S. Board of Directors for Radisson Hotel Group.

With more than 34 years of experience in hospitality real estate, Alderman has an extensive background in hotel and restaurant development, private equity fund investment, management contracts, franchises, public/private partnerships and investor relations. He most recently, he served as Executive Vice President for Extended Stay America (ESA), where he was instrumental in driving the company’s franchising strategy. In just 18 months, he took ESA from zero to 150 franchise deals. He was responsible for their next-generation product through new construction and franchise sales, and asset management of existing real estate portfolio, as well as acquisitions/disposition, and future redevelopment.

Alderman joined ESA from Kimpton Hotels where he was the Chief Development OfficerPrior to joining Kimpton, he held various senior leadership positions with Wyndham, Starwood Capital, IHG and Ernst & Young.

Throughout his career, Alderman has been involved in the acquisition, development, joint venture, and financing of over $15 billion of hotel real estate projects globally. He has helped guide the strategy and branding of hundreds of hotel projects from limited service and extended stay to independent boutiques and ultra-luxury properties with branded residential components.

He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Real Estate from Florida State University. He is an Executive Board Member for The Center of Real Estate Education and Research at Florida State University.


Chief Development Officer, Americas

Phil Hugh serves as Chief Development Officer, Americas of Radisson Hotel Group. Hugh leads, builds and delivers the development and growth strategies across its core brands in the Americas, including Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson. He also manages strategic investments for the portfolio and spearheads merger and acquisition activity related to portfolio growth. Hugh reports to Jim Alderman, Chief Executive Officer, Americas.

Hugh has 20 years of experience leading and motivating Franchise Sales & Development teams. Most recently, he spent seven years as a development leader at Red Roof Franchising, where he created a franchise division. His team built strong relationships that resulted in transforming the company to an asset-light and franchisee-focused organization. Prior to that, he held a variety of development leadership positions at Realogy Franchise Group, Development Opportunity Corporation, and Cendant Corporation.


Executive Vice President, Finance Special Projects

Tim Sticha is Executive Vice President, Finance Special Projects.

Sticha has held a variety of roles within Radisson Hotel Group for the past 30 years. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Radisson Hospitality, Inc., where he was responsible for the company’s finance, accounting, tax, insurance, and treasury functions, as well as directing strategic investments and strategic sourcing for the group. He has 20 years of experience in the hotel finance division supporting both franchised and managed properties.

Sticha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Saint John’s University in Minnesota and is a Certified Public Accountant.


Executive Vice President & General Counsel

Jenny Lindstrom serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Radisson Hospitality, Inc. Lindstrom is responsible for creating an integrated legal strategy for all brands, including brand management and operations in the Americas and Asia Pacific. She also provides legal expertise and support for strategic transactions, along with managing franchise legal documents, creating and executing management contracts, managing the operating licensing and contracting needs for owned and managed properties and supporting the legal needs of the revenue generating teams.

Lindstrom has worked for Radisson Hotel Group since 2010. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President & General Counsefor the EMEA office in Brussels until 2017 when she took her present positionPrior to joining the Radisson Hotel Groupshe spent six years as a general litigator with the law firm Dorsey & Whitney.

Lindstrom is a citizen of Sweden and the United States. She obtained her Master of Laws from Uppsala University in Sweden and a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota.


Chief Operating Officer, Americas

Aly El-Bassuni serves as Chief Operating Officer, Americas, for Radisson Hotel GroupHe is responsible for driving operational strategies across the Americas for Radisson Hotel Group’s franchised and managed hotels. El-Bassuni also leads the Owner Relations, Retention Services, Guest Experience, Technical Services, Openings, Quality Assurance and Safety and Security functions across all brandsTogether with his teams, they are responsible for improving hotel performance and guest experience by engaging key stakeholders with the company’s resources.

El-Bassuni previously served as Senior Vice President, Franchise Operations for the Americas at Radisson Hotel Group. During his time in this position, he played a strategic role in implementing the company’s five-year plan while leading the brand operations teams.

Prior to joining Radisson Hotel Group, El-Bassuni spent more than 17 years at Wyndham Hotel Group holding a variety of roles within the company. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Brand Operations leading the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham and Wingate by Wyndham brands. In this role, he oversaw strategic direction, financial and operations management, brand positioning, along with leading the brand’s franchise advisory council.

El-Bassuni joined Radisson Hotel Group in 2017 and is an industry veteran. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business with a focus on hotel, restaurant and tourism management from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. El-Bassuni earned his MBA degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania’s John L. Grove College of Business.


Chief Financial Officer, Americas

Amber Thiel serves as the Chief Financial OfficerAmericasShe is responsible for leading the Accounting, Finance and Strategic Planning teams in the Americas. Her teams support the accounting functions, investments, budgeting and forecasting processes, forward-looking analytics, and reporting. Additionally, the company’s Managed Hotels Finance team and the Americas Development Investements team report into Amber.

Thiel has been with Radisson Hotel Group, previously Carlson Hotels, for 13 years and has held a variety of roles within the company. Most recently, she served as the Vice President of Finance and Strategy. In this role, she led the global strategic planning and financial reporting team. Thiel successfully led the strategic planning process for Destination 2022, Radisson Hotel Group’s holistic five-year planThiel was also instrumental in the configuration and implementation of Workday. In this role, she was accountable for the system design, data conversion, controls and process compliance and employee training.

Thiel attended the University of North Dakota where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.


Chief Information Officer, Americas

Todd Schnobrich serves as the Chief Information Officer for Radisson Americas. In this role, he develops and executes the Americas Information Technology (IT) strategy, working closely with other business leaders to build a roadmap for IT in alignment with the company’s business strategy.

Schnobrich previously served as Vice President, Business Relationship Management for Radisson Hotel Group, where he worked with business leaders to establish priorities and budgets for IT investments.

Schnobrich previously held a variety of IT leadership roles at Cargill, where he led global teams in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. in diverse business sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and consumer packaged goods. He brings to Radisson experience in IT strategy, application management, business partnering, and driving value from enterprise technology platforms.

He also serves on the board of directors of the non-profit BestPrep, an organization dedicated to inspiring, educating, and connecting Minnesota students.


Vice President, Human Resources, Americas

Jenna Estlick serves as Vice President of Human Resources for the AmericasShe is responsible for leading the Human Resources (HR) team across the Americas and developing and delivering HR business strategies and results related to the company’s five-year plan. She is a member of the Executive Committee and reports to Jim Alderman, Chief Executive Officer, Americas.

Estlick previously served as the Senior Director, Human Resources, Americas, where she provided HR business partner support to the Commercial, Loyalty, Legal, HR, and Corporate Communications departments, and most recently led the corporate and managed hotels HR Business Partner teams.

Prior to joining RHGEstlick held a number of HR Business Partner roles at Target. She has a B.A. in International Business & Spanish from the University of St. Thomas.
