Changing gears – from asset-light to asset-right!
Since 2012, we opened 120 hotels and currently hold a fee-based pipeline of 100 hotels with over 23,000 rooms in EMEA. As the macro-economic climate evolves, we adjust our strategy in a way that is compatible with our business landscape and to be more relevant to our business partners.
We shift from asset-light to asset-right! Geographically, we will continue accelerating our fee based business in emerging & mature markets and refocus on Europe where Radisson Blu® remains the largest Upper Upscale brand. We have identified over 50 European cities in which we are willing to commit (even through leases) and create value to our partners.
This means that we will aim to provide our owners with the right business model for the right project in the right location.
