IÑIGO CAPELL

Iñigo Capell serves as the Executive Vice President and Global Chief Resources Officer of Radisson Hotel Group, and a member of the Global Steering Committee.

Capell is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience in talent management for highly complex, multinational companies. He is an experienced leader of global change management, digital transformation processes and merger and acquisition integrations.

In his global role, Capell is responsible for the Radisson Hotel Group’s human resources, procurement and responsible business organizationworldwide. As a member of the Global Steering Committee, he reports directly to Radisson Hospitality AB (formerly The Rezidor Hotel Group) President & CEO, and Chairman, Federico J. González.

A Spanish national, Capell previously served as the Chief Resources Officer at NH Hotel Group for 14 years, where his responsibilities included human resources, procurement, project and building and information technology. Capell’s versatile career path has taken him to work with some of the world’s leading brands, such as Comcast, Netjuice, BBVA Bank and Hewlett Packard.

In past roles, Capell has led major organizational transformations, implementing and deploying a new culture and principles of service. A passionate advocate of change, Capell helps business leaders to understand and adapt to new strategic thinking, employer value proposition strategy, sustainable engagement, defining new organizational models and evaluating the impact on short-and long-term success of the business.

Capell earned his master’s degree in law and business at the Colegio Universitario San Pablo CEU, and holds degrees from the IESE Business School in Barcelona and Madrid. Fluent in Spanish and English, he ranks 56thin the Choiseul ranking of Economic Leaders for Tomorrow 2016, Spain. He serves as Vice Chairman of AEDRH, and lectures at Garrigues, Icade and Instituto de empresa, as well as the International faculty of World at Work.
