Our local hotels are the real champions of the Super Bowl! By actively supporting our partner, It's A Penalty, they took a stand against sex-trafficking and child abduction before, during, and after the big game.
As with any major sports events, the huge influx of tourists and sporting fans to the Twin Cities area during Super Bowl LII dramatically increased the risk of children being abused, exploited, and trafficked. With the campaign’s ‘If you see something, say something’ call-to-action, our hotels of the Twin Cities metro area created awareness among employees and guests. They were also equipped with internal communication tools and trained their teams to look for warning signs and help prevent such incidents.

It’s A Penalty is hugely active during major sports events. They will continue to raise awareness at a range of global events, including the Winter Olympics, the Commonwealth Games, and the World Cup. The worldwide awareness and educational campaign is endorsed by celebrities such as Usain Bolt, Jerome Flynn from Game of Thrones, and NFL player Rashad Jennings.
