Federico J. González is the CEO of Radisson Hotel Group, based in the EMEA headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. The Group has more than 1,500 hotels in operation and development around the world.
González has extensive global executive leadership experience in the hospitality, leisure, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors. Prior to joining Radisson Hotel Group, he was Chief Executive Officer of NH Hotel Group, where he led a major turnaround of the company. González was previously Deputy General Manager of Disneyland Paris, and worked 16 years in senior management positions at Procter & Gamble in Brussels, Madrid, and Stockholm before becoming the company’s country Head of Portugal in 2000.
A respected marketer and change driver, González has written three books, Living and Working Abroad, How to Live and Work with the Portuguese, and How to succeed in doing business the Swedish way.
As a global leader, González’s personal mission is to motivate and energize large organizations to be more ambitious in profitability, purpose, and people, through respect for diversity of thought, culture, gender, experience, and beliefs.
González majored in Economics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and received a Master’s of International Trade and Finance from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. In January 2021, González became an independent member of the Board of Sodexo.

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER RADISSON HOTEL GROUP
Eric De Neef is a strategic, pro-active and visionary leader with a 30+ years track record within the international hospitality industry. He is deeply experienced in hotel operations and specialized in the full global Commercial and Branding scope with a focus on Guest Experience and Digitalization. He is a member of Radisson Hotel Group’s Executive Committee and of the Global Steering Committee of Radisson Hotel Group.
As the Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer of Radisson Hotel Group, De Neef leads the Commercial and Branding organization for the company. He is charged with developing the global branding, guest experience, marketing, and revenue generation strategy. His role also includes global sales, distribution, and revenue optimization.
De Neef joined RHG (formerly The Rezidor Hotel Group) in February 2011 as Senior Vice President for Park Inn by Radisson. Prior to that, he served as Managing Director for Accor’s All Seasons, Mercure and M Gallery Hotel brands in France. He was responsible for defining the global strategy for the three brands, covering a total of 325 hotels. His work earned accolades, including the Bernache d’Or Award in 2008 as the head of the Steering Committee that drove the launch of Accor’s A’Club Card loyalty program.
De Neef, a Belgian National, is a graduate in Hotel Management and speaks French, Dutch, English and German. He began his career at the Intercontinental in Brussels, before joining Sabena Catering Services. He also has served as Director of the Novotel Brugge Zuid and as General Manager of the Sofitel Brussels Toison d’Or Hotel. Following these branch management roles, De Neef moved to Paris and took over responsibility for the global branding strategy of the Mercure, an Accor brand. He was then transferred to Germany as the Managing Director of Mercure.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF PEOPLE AND RESOURCES OFFICER, RADISSON HOTEL GROUP
Iñigo Capell serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief People and Resources Officer at Radisson Hotel Group. He joined Radisson Hotel Group (previously Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group) in May 2017.
Capell is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience in talent management for highly complex, multinational companies. He is an experienced leader of global change management, digital transformation processes, and merger and acquisition integration.
In his role, Capell is responsible for Radisson Hotel Group’s human resources, information technology, procurement, technical services and responsible business departments.
A Spanish national, Capell previously served as the Chief Resources Officer at NH Hotel Group for 14 years, where his responsibilities included human resources, procurement, project and building, and information technology. Capell’s versatile career path has taken him to work with some of the world’s leading technology, banking, internet, and hospitality companies such as NH Hotel Group, Comcast, Netjuice, BBVA Bank, and Hewlett Packard.
In past roles, Capell has led major organizational transformations, implementing and deploying a new culture and principles of service. Capell is a passionate advocate of change and helps business leaders to understand and adapt to new strategic thinking, employer value proposition strategy, sustainable engagement, defining new organizational models, and evaluating the impact on short- and long-term success of the business.
Capell earned his master’s degree in law and business at the Colegio Universitario San Pablo CEU, and holds degrees from the IESE Business School in Barcelona and Madrid. He is fluent in Spanish and English and is ranked 56th in the Choiseul ranking of Economic Leaders for Tomorrow 2016, Spain. Capell lectures in different business schools and is a member of the international faculty of World at Work.
Eva-Maria Erauw serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel at Radisson Hotel Group. She joined Radisson Hotel Group (previously Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group) in November 2017.
In her role, Erauw is responsible for all legal matters tied to the central business functions, including development, asset management, sales and marketing and procurement, as well as providing legal support to the regional operational offices. As General Counsel, she oversees the protection of the global trademark portfolio of Radisson brands and is responsible for risk management, compliance and data privacy. She is Secretary to the Board of Radisson Hospitality AB and has worked on multiple global projects, including various global refinancing plans, in close cooperation with our shareholders.
A Belgian national, Erauw previously served as Vice President Legal and Deputy Chief Privacy Officer EAME at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. and Marriott International for 12 years, where her responsibilities included supporting development, operations and asset management, and advising on data privacy matters. Prior to moving in-house, she was an Associate at Clearly Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in Brussels, Belgium where she worked on multiple cross-border transactions and gained experience in the field of mergers & acquisitions, banking and finance.
Erauw earned her master’s degree in law at the University of Ghent, Belgium, and also holds a Masters in Corporate Law from New York University, School of Law. She is fluent in English, Dutch and French and is a member of the Institute of Belgian legal counsels and Guberna.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Sergio Amodeo serves as Chief Financial Officer for Radisson Hotel Group. His teams support the accounting functions, internal audit, treasury & investments, budgeting and forecasting processes, forward-looking analytics, and reporting.
With over 20 years international experience working with leading fast moving consumer goods companies (FMCG) such as P&G, Groupe Danone, and Bolton across four different countries (Italy, France, New Zealand, and Spain), from stable environments (CFO Europe) to growth environments (CFO EMEA), Amodeo has also focused on the development of new geographies as Global Head of Business Development. In his career, Amodeo has been leading geographically dispersed teams in multicultural environments for over 15 years.
Amodeo’s experience includes five years as Group Chief Financial Officer for a leading Italian Private Equity Owned Software Group with a strong entrepreneurial approach. His responsibilities included managing due diligence, restructuring and cost efficiency programs, listing and refinancing of corporate bonds in the stock markets (Italy, Luxembourg), nurturing relationships with investors and banks, and rating agencies for extraordinary Private Equity operations.
Amodeo holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Salerno (Italy) and attended INSEAD Fontainebleau’s AMP Executive Program from 2007-2009. He joined Radisson Hotel Group in 2019 as Chief Financial Officer.

Chema Basterrechea serves as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Radisson Hotel Group and is based in the EMEA headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, reporting directly to Federico J. González, President and CEO of Radisson Hotel Group.
Basterrechea is responsible for all operational and commercial matters including brand standards implementation, operating procedures, commercial activities, Hotels and Areas P&L’s, introduction of operating models and organizational efficiency, and improvement of the company’s profitability and brand awareness. He also works to identify new market segments and helps to expand the existing customer base of the group.
His direct reports include Radisson Hotel Group’s Senior Area Vice Presidents across Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa, as well as the corporate leaders of Operations, Franchise Services, Asset Management, Food and Beverage, Revenue Management, eCommerce, Marketing and Sales across EMEA.
Basterrecheahas more than two decades of successful experience providing strategic and operational leadership in the hospitality industry. As former Chief Operating Officer of NH Hotel Group and Chief Executive Officer of NH Hotel Group Italia, he brings a strong track record of performance in turnaround and fast-paced organizations. His keen insights team approach and strong customer-centric philosophy drive organizational improvements and best practices implementation. He has led several M&A processes in different countries.
Basterrechea is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian, and holds a master’s degree in business finance from the University of Wisconsin in the U.S. and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Oviedo in Spain. He also is a graduate of the London Business School’s Senior Executive Program, IESE Business School and Dublin City University.
He has been a member of Comitato Investitori Esteri Confindustria, the Italian Association of Chief Executive Officers (AICEO) and the Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Italy, where he has served as a board member since 2008. He also is a board member of Confindustria AICA (Association of Italian Hotel Companies) and a founding member of the Italian chapter of the 30% Club: Growth for Diversity.

Elie Younes leads Radisson Hotel Group’s organic growth and M&A expansions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa with an international team based in Brussels, Moscow, Barcelona, Milan, London, Oslo, Dubai, Frankfurt and Cape Town. He is a member of Radisson Hotel Group’s Executive Committee and is based in the EMEA headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
Younes has re-engineered Radisson Hotel Group’s development strategy to focus on an asset-right growth and relevant mature and new business concepts in a fast-changing environment. He has a clear vision on delivering a compelling value proposition to investment stakeholders and is on a mission to have this executed. Younes’s cultural background and lifestyle accelerates his stamina and ability to be nimble, anticipate and act fast.
A Lebanese national and English citizen, Younes began his career in managerial roles in his home country, before joining HVS in London in 2001. He progressed quickly to the position of Director and a Designate MD with HVS within 5 years. He also authored a number of publications on hotel performance assessments and investments. In 2007, he joined Starwood in London as Senior Director of Acquisitions and Development. His next move took him to Hilton Hotels Worldwide as Vice President Development, based in Dubai, before joining Rezidor in 2010, as Vice President of Business Development for the Middle East and Africa. In January 2013, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Development EMEA, and then to Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer two years later.
Younes is fluent in English, French and Arabic and loves exploring new cultures around the world. He is educated in Beirut, Paris, New York and London, at universities like Notre Dame, IMHI/Essec, Insead, Cornell University, Johnson Graduate Business School and City University.
Katerina Giannouka a member of Radisson Hotel Group’s Executive Leadership Committee and head of the Asia Pacific region. In her role, she leads the RHG Asia Pacific executive committee, its corporate teams located in Singapore, Shanghai, Delhi, Jakarta and Sydney and a portfolio of 250+ hotels in operation and pipeline.
Under her leadership, the RHG Asia Pacific team is executing a comprehensive 5-year strategic and operating plan to propel the growth of Radisson Hotel Group’s expansion models and underlying business operations to reach 2,000 hotels. In Asia Pacific, the Group’s brand portfolio includes Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson and Radisson Individuals.
A dedicated, curious and passionate individual, Katerina brings with her some 20 years of combined experience in hotel development, transactions, asset management, advisory, and operations spanning across some 35 countries. Her expertise includes building dynamic teams, driving growth, and delivering owners’ return on investment; her interests include empowering others to reach their full potential and bringing mindfulness into the workspace. Outside of work she is passionate about her family, daily yoga practise and all sports involving water - most of all wake surfing, scuba diving and sailing.
Prior to joining Radisson Hotel Group, Katerina held leadership roles with Rosewood Hotel Group, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, and HVS. Katerina graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He is an active member of YPO, a global leadership community of chief executives.
